Interested in contracting with the State of Alaska? You need to know about IRIS!
On June 1, 2015, the State will launch a new vendor self service web site called IRIS, the Integrated Resource Information System. IRIS moves the State’s procurement and accounting processes to a web-based system that will allow vendors to respond to solicitations, maintain account information, track financial information, and process invoices electronically.
Free Training: To be prepared for this mandatory registration process, the Division of Finance is hosting free on-site video training sessions in Anchorage, Juneau and Fairbanks. The video sessions will focus on how to:
* Activate an existing account
*Create a new account
*View payables and solicitations.

April 6 – 10, 2015 – Fairbanks, AK
Associated General Contractors (AGC), 3750 Bonita Street
April 13 – 17, 2015 – Anchorage, AK
Atwood Building, 550 W 7th Avenue
April 20 – 24, 2015 – Juneau, AK
Centennial Hall Convention Center, 101 Egan Drive
The two hour video sessions will start at 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm each day at each location.
Registration: There is no requirement to pre-register. Locations have a fairly large capacity so you can select a date and time that is convenient for your schedule. Please be aware that in the remote chance that the room is full you may be asked to attend a later video session.
