As of January PPIRS (Past Performance Information Retrieval System), the site for capturing performance, was merged into CPARS (Contract Performance Assessment Reporting System). To access evaluations, contractors must have an active account in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must have created a Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) in SAM. Currently, users going to PPIRS.gov are automatically redirected to CPARS.gov. Note that the PPIRS name is used in several parts of the FAR and will remain in the FAR until it is updated- FAR Subpart 42.15.
