Alaska PTAC Message Regarding COVID 19

NOTE: The Alaska PTAC has been renamed as Alaska APEX Accelerator. This change occurred on September 15, 2023. Learn why.

As you know the CV19 virus is dominating the news and our personal and professional lives in a significant way.  The Alaska PTAC is open for business to support you on a regular basis but we are implementing some risk reduction procedures that may affect the way we interact with our clients. Alaska PTAC physical locations will be unavailable for in-person meetings, training, and walk-ins. PTAC staff will be working remotely until further notice.
The recommended contact type is by email. Please be advised that voice mail systems will have limited access, so please send emails. If you have in the past or currently are working with a particular staff member, please reach out to that individual. Our individual emails can be found at https://alaskaptac.wpengine.com/about/contact/  If you are not sure who to contact, send your inquiry to jysummers@alaska.edu for assistance with an appropriate referral.
What to Expect
1.   Webinars will continue as scheduled
2.   Seminars, workshops and site visits will be evaluated individually and, most likely, hosted using our technology platforms such as zoom and go to meeting rather than be hosted in person.
3.   Client contact will remain active but we will rely heavily on technology platforms to facilitate counseling sessions and minimize physical interactions. Your counselor will reach out to you to set up alternate means of facilitating counseling sessions.
4.   Alaska PTAC staff will make every effort to stay informed of available resources or updates on information regarding the impact of CV19 on government contractors.
Please understand that our desire is to support you and your business without interruption but we will have to minimize risk of spreading CV19 by minimizing travel, large groups and physical contact until this challenge passes over.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
