How to Best Use SAM Wage Determinations

The Service Contract Act (SCA) or the Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) require contractors to pay a minimum hourly rate plus health and welfare compensation, or fringe benefits. These rates, known as prevailing wages, are defined by labor category as listed in a Wage Determination.
While the Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division (DoL WHD) has the legal authority to implement, enforce and investigate both SCA and DBA prevailing wages; the actual Wage Determinations are posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) website.
Businesses actively pursuing federal contracts need to understand how to find and apply the correct wage determination when building their proposal labor costs. With this in mind, this webinar will discuss:
